FAQ:
Kontakt crashes or loads very slowly when I try to open the library.
MAC OS USERS:
If you are storing your samples on an external drive, make sure the drive is NOT formatted as ExFAT. Kontakt does not work well with ExFAT formatted drives on macOS. You can check the format of a drive using the "Disk Utility" application located in APPLICATIONS > UTILITIES > DISK UTILITY in the Finder.
RUN A "BATCH RE-SAVE TO SPEED UP LOADING TIMES:
1) Launch Kontakt Player and select "Batch re-Save from the "FILES" menu at the top of the Kontakt Interface.
2) You'll see a warning message asking if you want to proceed. Choose YES to continue.
3) Choose the folder location where you installed your library.
PLEASE NOTE: You must select the ENTIRE LIBRARY FOLDER, not the files inside of it.
4) Kontakt will re-save all the presets and local sample path data. Let it finish and you're all set!
