Terms. A 25% non-refundable deposit is required in advance of every project to hold the dates. No deposit means no guarrantee on the dates. The remainder plus expenses* are due on day 1 of the 1st session. NO EXCEPTIONS. Deposits on missed dates, cancellations & post-ponements without 30 days notice are subject to forfeit unless a replacement project can be found for the scheduled dates.
Expenses. Things like heads, sticks, picks, strings, hard drives, additional cd &/or dvd burns, food, beverage, shipping / travel costs & hotel accomodations are considered an expense & are NOT included in the quoted price.
Data storage. Bands are encouraged to purchase a firewire hard drive to store your session data at the completion of the project. I highly recommend an 80gb firewire400 hard drive from Other World Computing. They are very reliable & perfectly suited for audio recording. If you are only recording a song or two, a more affordable option is to have me burn dvd-r archives of your project at $10 per disc. Approx. 1-3 songs can fit on a single dvd-r.
Hours of operation. 11am to 7pm everyday. I try to take Sundays off.
